Nick Gordon is getting off. The domestic battery charges that the late Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend were facing have been dropped.

Prosecutors had no choice since his accuser, his girlfriend Laura Leal, suddenly wanted no parts of the court proceedings.

Reports Page Six:

Florida prosecutors said they have opted not to try the case against Gordon, 28, after Leal “became unhappy with the criminal justice process” and “repeatedly demanded” that they stop going after Gordon, according to the State Attorney’s Office. Leal also wrote a letter to the judge on the case requesting that it be dropped.

Because Leal, 26, became uncooperative, the lead prosecutor on the case ultimately determined that it couldn’t go to trial, according to the State Attorney’s Office. The office also learned that Gordon had successfully undergone a four-hour anger management course as well as a four-hour alcohol and substance abuse course.

Nick Gordon was ordered to pay $36M to the estate of Brown after he was found guilty in a wrongful death suit.

Best of luck collecting that dough since dude is clearly living a life of struggle.
