During a performance at the Toyota Center in Houston this past Saturday (September 9), Janet Jackson was rocking the crowd when she suddenly broke down in tears after her rendition of “What About.”

Many people were left speculating as to why The Velvet Rope artist was suddenly all in her feelings.

Well, wonder know more because her older brother Steven Randall “Randy” Jackson has come out and pointed the finger at Janet’s ex-husband, Wissam Al Mana.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the former Jacksons singer said “Enough is enough” and accused the London-based Qatari businessman of being verbally abusive to Janet during their 6-year marriage.

“It was quite an abusive situation,” Randy claims. “It came on later in the relationship, verbal abuse and being [made to feel like] a prisoner in her own home. No pregnant woman needs to go through being called a b*tch everyday. There were things like that. That’s what she went through.”

Attorney’s for Al Mana called the allegations “particular and deeply hurtful” and in a statement released to PEOPLE said “The breakdown of his marriage to Janet Jackson is a cause of great sadness to Mr. Al Mana, and it is the wellbeing and privacy of their son, Eissa, that remains his sole focus.”

And in a move to show he’s not the monster that Randy alleges he is, Mana took to his website and threw up a picture Janet with a caption that read “Love” and a message saying, “To the most beautiful person in the world, thank you for your divine love, your eternal support and for being my best friend. I love you so much. Inshallah, we will be together in the Great Forever.”

Janet just gave birth to the couple’s baby son earlier this year and a few months later filed for a divorce. We hope for the sake of everyone involved the divorce can move forward amicably and the two can move on with their lives while being responsible co-parents.
