The culture won at the Emmy Awards last night (Sept. 18). In this specific case, Donald Glover won a pair of Emmys, for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy andOutstanding Directing for a Comedy Series, both for Atlanta .
With the latter, Glover became the first Black director to win the award. As for the former, the last time a Black man was Robert Guillaume for Benson, 32 years ago.
Also, after receiving his Best Directing award from none other than Dave Chappelle, Glover sarcastically thanked Donald Trump for the W. How can you hate on this guy aka the new Lando Calrissian?
