This weekend Cheeto Jesus continued to show his racist pigment when he went after Black athletes over their peaceful protest of police brutality and further fanned the racism disguised as patriotism flames that’s been engulfing the US since Russia planted him in the White House.
While Trumpians continue to lose their ish over players kneeling for the national anthem, Jesse Williams reminds everyone that the NFL didn’t even start this “scam” of a “tradition” of having players stand for the anthem until 2009.
“This has not – nothing to do with the NFL or the American pastime or tradition,” said Williams on MSNBC. “This is to get boys and girls to go fly overseas and go kill people…. They’re marketing and pumping millions of dollars into the NFL to get us to put on a pageant in front of the NFL football games to get you to go off and fight.”
He’s not wrong. But still, watch conservatives target him for not “staying in his place.”
