Drake has proved yet again his influence stretches out beyond music. He has gotten Netflix to bring back his favorite television drama, Top Boy.

Originally premiering in 2011, the British crime series only saw a brief two-season run before being canceled in 2013. Luckily this is Drizzy’s go to program and the OVO star worked his magic to bring it back via the streaming giant.

In 2016 actor Ashley Walters hinted at the show coming back citing Drake’s interest in possibly funding a third season. It seems that his support has worked with Netflix confirming they ordered season three and four.

While Netflix has yet to confirm it is rumored the Young Money rapper actually bought the rights to the series and will have an acting role in the relaunch. For those unfamiliar with Top Boy you can catch the first two seasons here.
