After opening Sweet Chick restaurants in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Los Angeles, Nas is finally bringing his chicken & waffles chain to his hometown of Queens, NY.

Not for nothing but shouldn’t have Queens been the first place he opened one up? Just sayin’.

Nas’ Sweet Chick restaurant has quickly been becoming a favorite amongst Hip-Hop fans and foodies in general thanks to their savory soul food, thirst quenching cocktails and live music.

In a Billboard piece about the new spot the Queensbridge King says “Since partnering with Sweet Chick I’ve always wanted to take it back to my roots, and now it’s finally happening with the Long Island City store. That’s where I️ grew up,” Nas tells Billboard exclusively. “We are also paying respect to my father, who’s a now retired jazz artist, with a private dining room inspired by jazz clubs where Chicken and Waffles were born.”

You can’t be mad at that.
