On this week’s episode of Love & Hip Hop: New York, Yandy has finally gained some leverage against Mama Judy, who apparently has been stepping out with her own salt and pepper snack when she believed no one was looking. Yandy ends up joining them on their dinner date and making things wild uncomfortable.
What a day when the tables will turn!
Mendeecees had been giving Yandy the cold shoulder from prison for a number of days, saying that he needed a break from her, which actually sounds really funny. But once they talked and hashed things out (“So I can lotion a chick’s ass cheeks then?” Not the same thing Mendeecees…), seemed like everything was back to normal.
Anais has a big mouth. We already knew that but Jonathan addresses it on this episode because the singer’s been running through the streets spilling all the tea on the freaky details of their past. Their mutual friend Bella has been there since the two were teenagers, shortly after Anais won ‘the Dominican American Idol,’ and she thought it would be a good idea for Jonathan and Anais to have a sitdown and talk about whether or not their relationship can be mended. It was a terrible idea. Dreadful, actually. It was ultimately the most annoying screaming match about who was bougie and Hollywood and who left who behind to run behind stars. We learned that Jonathan and Anais were involved in some sort of orgy years ago, which mortifies Jon (“We did it with pride when we did it!,” Anais shrieks. “It is what it is!”)

Jaquae reveals his new relationship with Sophia Body this week. “What me and Sophia have is really special. We’ve been seeing each other for six months and we’ve made it official. She’s living with me,” he says, beaming like a little kid. Why do these folks love to rush the cohabitation? Why? You don’t even know if they’re crazy yet but y’all sharing your living space. Aiight.
The happy couple meets up with Grafh and Brit at a bar and the girls gossip about the video incident with James R and Mariahlynn. “She didn’t want to be sitting next to anybody prettier than her,” Britt offers and Sophia responds pointedly, “Girl, that’s almost everybody!” Also. She hasn’t told her new man that she’s back to doing videos, sort of.
“She wasn’t tryna do the video but she did it on the fact that maybe she’s feeling the kid… She acting like a free agent now though. Listen. The way she was rocking with the kid on set, she tryna get drafted.”
The ultimate in douchbaggery. And this is the same chump who tried to sweet talk Mariah earlier in the episode on some “there was nothing going on for you to react that way!” Glad she ain’t go for it.

Grafh seems to believe this weirdo though which is nuts. Of course he runs to tell his homeboy Jacque and Self breaks the main element down proper:
“Maybe she was doing something she wasn’t supposed to be doing… Maybe you should say something because it looks like they’re fighting over a dude. And the dude ain’t even you.”
Yikes.
Everyone seems to know everyone on LHH this season, even if it’s just by-the-way. This is bound to become a tangled mess in a week or two because of that fact.
Britt and Dream Doll get up at a smoothie shop to talk about the former’s ailing grandmother, Sophia comes to join them. Apparently, Sophia is one of Safaree’s ex-interests and Dream Doll has decided that off that fact she’ll be shading the girl. Drinks are thrown, Sophia’s not even sure where the animosity is coming from but she’s ready for action. Britt ends up with a full smoothie to the body and all she wanted to do was cry to her friends about her granny. SMH. Damn shame.
BTW, Lil Mo wants her husband to take a lie detector test because although the love and family is “down pat, social media doesn’t want [her] to trust [her] husband.” Okay girl.
Next week, link up and we’ll tell you all about what happens.
