Officials have confirmed that Reggae singer Gregory Isaacs has died of cancer.
The Jamaican born vocalist lost his battle with lung cancer early Monday surrounded by family at his London home.
Known as the “cool ruler”, Isaacs released over 50 albums since the start of his career.
His wife Linda released a statement on his passing saying,
“Gregory was well-loved by everyone, his fans and his family, and he worked really hard to make sure he delivered the music they loved and enjoyed. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.”
