Snoop Dogg Speaks On Willie Nelson’s Weed Arrest

Legendary country singer and marijuana advocate, Willie Nelson was arrested recently for carrying six ounces of the herb and when TMZ asked West Coast MC, Snoop Dogg what he thought about the arrest, the singer’s fellow weed lover wasn’t having it.

“They better leave willie the f**k alone why are the f**king with willie nelson,” Snoop Dogg told TMZ. “Sometimes y’all need to back up off certain people and have a certain amount of respect for your elders. he’s somebody who lived through many decades of the music business, and hard times. give him that respect.

The arrest was sparked on November 27th, when Hudspeth County officials took note of a marijuana aroma on Nelson’s tour bus during a checkpoint.

After a thorough search of the bus, officers found drugs belonging to the country icon.

Snoop Dogg, who has a license to legally smoke marijuana in California, was disgusted at the cop’s arrest of the of the the 77-year old musician, and went off on camera.

“Who’s the motherf**ker that arrested him? Who is the police officer that said ‘you are under arrest and have the right to remain silent,’ you dumb motherf**ker you, you stupid motherf**ker you! What you think you are going to gain by arresting Willie Nelson? He got out and he’s back smoking right now.”

A Hudspeth County Sheriff reported that Nelson was released on a $2000 bond, and if convicted, he could spend up to 180 days in jail.

“He could get 180 days in county jail, which if he does, I’m going to make him cook and clean. He can wear the stripy uniforms just like the other ones do,”  said Sheriff Arvin West.
