Michael Phillips, a former bodyguard for Atlanta rapper Future, was shot and killed inside his Georgia townhome on Monday (Jan. 25). Phillips was at home with his wife, who is pregnant with their child, at the time of the incident.
It’s not really a surprise since he’s been teasing its release, the but Future dropped his Purple Reign mixtape late last night (Jan. 16). The free project is executive produced by DJ Esco and Metro Boomin.
