The murder case involving Aaron Hernandez is quickly developing as prosecutors continue to unseal documents and look through evidence in building their case. In newly released images, photos show the former New England Patriot holding what appears to be a gun in his left hand.

Former cooking show maven Paula Deen got cooked, no pun intended, by Twitter after admitting her fondness for the N-Word in a court deposition. Although the one-time Food Network star went on a “I’m Not A Racist” apology tour, it all rang hollow in the end. Deen isn’t the first celebrity to show racist tendencies, however. 

Jonathon “Tig” Willard hasn’t played an official game with the Tennessee Titans, and he’s already  showing the team in a good light. Willard, a rookie linebacker who signed on as a free agent, was late to training camp this week for one very good reason: he was saving a family from a burning vehicle.

In a case over a decade old, a Staten Island inmate was sentenced to die yesterday (July 24) by a federal jury in Brooklyn after an earlier death conviction was overturned. Ronell Wilson, 31, exhibited little remorse for the execution-style murder of two undercover police officers in 2003 thus landing him back on death row.
