When it comes to Chicago producers, Anthony “Twilite Tone” Khan is a legend. He’s the man responsible for crafting Common’s sound, producing the first three albums from the rapper, gave No ID his name, and produced for Kanye West.
The final numbers are in for G.O.O.D. Music’s compilation album, Cruel Summer. Kanye West’s project featuring the likes of Pusha T, Big Sean, Common, Cyhi The Prynce, 2 Chainz and Teyana Taylor managed to pull in over 216,000 albums sold in it’s first week.
DJ Drama continues to premiere new tracks off of his anticipated album, Quality Street Music, that hits stores this Tuesday. After hitting the streets with “Clouds,” featuring Rick Ross, Pusha T, Curren$y and Miguel; he follows up with “My Way.”
G.O.O.D. Music affiliates Big Sean, Pusha-T, CyHi The Prynce, Teyana Taylor, and Common played the “who’s most likely to” game with the good folks at FUSE during their press run for Cruel Summer. Funny enough, the topic of strip club food came up, to which the crew made reference to Common’s unintentionally hilarious anecdote on Big Sean’s Detroit mixtape.
