Governor’s Ball

Roddy Ricch was arrested along with two other men on Saturday just outside of Citifield in Queens, New York where he was set to perform at the Governor's Ball music festival. He would be released shortly afterward, with the charges against him dropped by the Queens District Attorney's office.


Roddy Ricch was supposed to perform at Governors Ball in New York City this weekend. However, the Compton rapper was popped on weapons charges as he was entering the venue in Queens, and his plans went kaput.

Fans who purchased tickets to Governors Ball to see Migos are feeling in a ways. The group will not be at the festival further fueling rumors of a break up.


Tickets for the event go on sale on Thursday, Jan. 27 at 11:59 a.m. EST with Citi Card holders getting first dibs via presale access.

Ticket buyers beware – Mother Nature continues to show little chill for your festival goals. The crowd at Governors Ball was served this reminder yet once again.

Whoever was in charge of 2018 Governors Ball line announcement might have their Atlanta visitor’s pass already revoked. 2 Chainz was not pleased with where his name was placed.

The 2018 Governors Ball edition looks pretty lit. This year will have 60 plus emerging and legacy artists performing.

Governors Ball is one of the year’s biggest music festivals, and 2017’s will not disappoint. The lineup was announced today (Jan. 4), and a few of the headliners include Chance The Rapper, Childish Gambino and Wu-Tang Clan.

The annual Governors Ball Music Festival has recently had headliners that like Drake and OutKast. 2016’s will certainly be up to par as Kanye West is among a field of headliners that include The Killers and The Strokes. 

Another successful Governors Ball went down in NYC over the weekend with headlong performances from the likes of Drake, a Rae Sremmurd member having a horrendous accident and fans having a great time. Samsung made its presence felt all weekend and copped the festivities off with an exclusive party on Sunday night (June 7). 

This past weekend, Drake had himself an incredible Governor’s Ball but Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jimmy did not. While unlocking the swag during his set, the wild boy slipped on a speaker, destroying his knee this side of Kyrie Irving and had to have emergency surgery.
