The Issa Rae-created series, Rap Sh!t has been renewed for a second season on HBO Max. The show follows two estranged friends on their journey to become rap stars.

The new series from Insecure co-creator Issa Rae will stream weekly on HBO Max. The comedy is co-executive produced by the City Girls

 Insecure is done, but it looks like Rap Sh!t will be picking up the baton.

Issa Rae will be handling ambassador duties for the 2022 American Black Film Festival.

On Friday (Feb. 11), the Philadelphia songstress delivered the deluxe edition of the release titled Heaux Tales, Mo'Tales: The Deluxe, and Twitter is especially fond of the "Issa's Tale" interlude.

Today (Dec. 2), Roc Nation and Modern Luxury Media unveiled its new multimedia platform, EDITION by Modern Luxury, with actress, writer and producer Issa Rae as the cover star of its inaugural, limited collector's Art Issue.

On Monday (Oct. 25) Amanda Seales took to her Instagram stories to debunk theories that she was a member of the Divine 9, revealing that she’s tired of people questioning whether she’s a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority in real life just because she plays Tiffany, a dedicated AKA soror on the HBO series. 

In an interview, actress Issa Rae shared how one piece of advice that she got from a former co-worker about including a white character in her shows to gain greater attention proved to be on the money, and how she has since backed away from doing it as Insecure comes to an end after five successful seasons.

After a glorious and entertaining 4 seasons, Insecure is coming to an end. While we hate to see the beloved series go, it just can’t get here fast enough.
