A unique collaboration between a technological group that aids prisoners in correctional facilities with rehab support during their time and on their release and the rapper Lecrae along with an HBCU looks to find one person with an uplifting message delivered through Hip-Hop.

Lecrae is speaking out against the backlash that he received over his seeming lack of effort to check a white Pastor who referred to the heinous act of slavery as a "white blessing." On Tuesday (Jun 16), the Christian rapper took to social media to speak his truth regarding the incident, clarifying that he was not "ok" with what Atlanta mega-church pastor Louie Giglio said in regards to slavery.

Lecrae is in the hot seat after his appearance with Atlanta mega-church pastor Louie Giglio and Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy to discuss the topic of race relations took an awful turn. On Sunday (Jun 14), Giglio sat down with rapper Lecrae and Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy to have "an open and honest conversation around how racism has plagued our city for generations and the steps we can all take to confront it head-on in our church, our neighborhoods, and our hearts."

Lecrae’s almost a year removed from dropping his 2017 album, All Things Work Together, but already he’s announced that he’s currently crafting a brand new project with Southern super-producer Zaytoven which is slated to drop sooner than later.

Lecrae continues to do things that your favorite rapper can’t or haven’t done yet.

Lecrae has been building up his brand of confident, faith-based Hip-Hop since 2004 via his own Reach Records label. Now, the Houston, Texas native’s hard work has finally paid off after it was announced Thursday that he’s inked a deal with Columbia Records.

Lecrae is a talented MC that still manages to fly under the radar of many. The Grammy Award-winning rapper just dropped his latest mixtape, Church Clothes 3.

Lecrae blitzed through a MVP season last year with his Billboard-topping Anomaly album, so it was only right that reigning champ Stephen Curry join him onstage during a tour stop through Oakland.

Lecrae appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where he performed “Nuthin” from his new, number one selling album Anomaly for the live studio audience.

Lecrae used his gifts from God to his advantage and his seventh studio album in Anomaly is the #1 album in the country as a result.
