The “winner” in the Iran election wants Obama to mind his business about the protests in Iran.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was re-elected into office as the winner of the Iran election and protests have been taking off ever since. Iran officials are accusing the U.S. of provoking the protests and have banned media from reporting in Iran. They also insist they will not back down on the re-election of Amadinejad and will move quickly to “crush” any future protests.

Now according to Fars News Agency, Ahmadinejad wants nothing more but Obama to keep his comments to himself after the president said he was “appalled” and “outraged” by the crack down on protests in the country. Ahmadinejad issued a statement saying “I hope you Obama will avoid interfering in Iran’s affairs,” Mr. Ahmadinejad said.

In other words, mind yours because I’m minding mine. He also continued on to accuse Obama of using words similar to those of George W. Bush. “Mr. Obama made a mistake to say those things,” he said. “Our question is why he fell into this trap and said things that previously (former U.S. President George W.) Bush used to say.”

Ahmadinejad then went on to talk about Britain and other European countries calling them led by “a bunch of politically retarded people.” While Amadinejad is busy making insults, the death toll in his country has risen to 17. Amongst those confirmed is the “new face” of Iranian justice Neda. Neda is the young woman caught dying on camera in the middle of the street whose video has been posted on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.

So Iranian officals have people being shot and killed on video tape, people are practically rioting in the streets because of the election but Britain is “politically retarded”? Right. Last time I checked the queen was chillin and her people were happy to have her in power. What Ahmadinejad is failing to realize is that no one is going to ignore what is happening in Iran. Especially not when people are posting YouTube videos and Twitter updates about it. People have a voice and they’re going to speak out, and as the most powerful country in the world America’s going to listen. Sorry Ahmadinejad that’s just the way it is.
