Although currently incarcerated, T.I. has released a video for his single “Don’t Forget” featuring Mary J. Blige. In the song T.I. raps about bouncing back from his recent troubles with the law like he’s done in the past and promises that he will regain his thrown. On the track, he spits:
“Ay, The King, modern day Martin Luther, Malcolm X/ I’m officially the freshest, don’t dare to forget/ I’m gone momentarily, don’t bury me yet/ Like Ali got/ I got my title back/ Compare me to that…”
T.I. started his year and a day jail sentence on May 26 in Forrest City Arkansas Federal Prison.
His next CD will be a re-release of his 2008 hit album Paper Trail, repackaged and re-titled, Paper Trail: Case Closed, due in August.
