Rapper Accused In Virginia Quadruple Homicide
An aspiring rapper of out California is believed to be responsible for four deaths in Virginia. Richard Samuel Alden McCroskey III aka Syko Sam was arrested Saturday in Richmond, Virginia. The 20-year-old ‘horrorcore' rapper was arrested at the Richmond International Airport just before he caught a flight back to California. Police charged him with robbery, murder and stealing the car of one of his victims. He is believed to be responsible for the deaths of a pastor, the pastor's daughter, the daughter's friend and the pastor's ex wife. Syko Sam was dubbed psycho for a reason. His ‘horrorcore' music included violent lyrics that glorified killing people. One verse from his song “Dark Side” says,
"You're not the first, just to let you know. I've killed many people and I kill them real slow. It's the best feeling, watching their last breath. Stabbing and stabbing till there's nothing left.”
According to police, Syko Sam met the daughter through Myspace where they exchanged messages and arranged for him to visit her in Virginia. Her last message to Sam was posted on September 7 and read:
“The next time you check your myspace, YOULL BE AT MY HOUSE!”
How sad to see another person fall victim to the dangers of meeting people online.
