Jason Aquino has been cleared of the murder charge that loomed before him. Instead the 23-year-old will be charged with being an accessory to armed robbery and carrying a firearm without a license.

Good news in an otherwise negativity laced event, Aquino was originally charged in the murder of Justin Cosby, a 21-year-old Cambridge resident described as having a kind demeanor and promising future.

Purportedly a robbery gone bad, the event has shaken Harvard to its core, igniting racial tensions while uncovering a notorious drug trade previously unknown to non-residents.

Jabrai Jordan Copney and Blayn Jiggets have both been formally charged in the attempted robbery and subsequent murder of Cosby with both receiving murder charges in the first degree for the May shooting.

Copney, a quasi-famous songwriter who has written for several major R&B acts including legendary group New Edition, has plead not guilty. Jiggets is still awaiting extradition from New York. Aquino was originally facing these charges as well.

Chenequa Campbell and Brittany Smith, both associates of the killers and victim, were not allowed to graduate from the Ivy League institution due to suspicions of involvement on their respective parts in the crime.

Campbell has been deemed by those close to the incident as the semi-mastermind behind the misdeed, with numerous sources claiming that she had Cosby “set up,” informing Copney that he would be a prime robbery target due to his heavy involvement in the marijuana trade around Cambridge.
