First lady Michelle Obama is taking on a new role. She is playing International hostess to the spouses of world leaders during the G-20 Summit. The first lady is treating the ladies to various cultural events in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania including a visit to a farm, a visit to a school and a tour of a museum.

Michelle kicked off her hosting duties Thursday with dinner at the farm of Teresa Heinz Kerry, the wife of John Kerry. The dinner featured food grown on the farm, fitting because Michelle is known for eating food from her White House garden.

Today she’s taking the ladies to visit the Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts School. They will visit classrooms where students rehearse for upcoming performances and be treated to a concert from cellist Yo Yo Ma, singer Trisha Yearwood and singer Sara Bareilles.

Following that they’ll end their time together at the Andy Warhol Museum for a private tour and luncheon. They’ll see some of his most famous works and be encouraged to have one of Warhol’s images of a flower silk-screened on to a tote bag to take home as a souvenir. They will also open one of the coveted time capsules from the artist housed there.
