The First Lady Of Memphis, Gangsta Boo, is back in the lab preparing her new mixtape Rumors scheduled to drop on Halloween.  Now part of Memphis producer and ATL transplant  Drumma Boy’s Drum Squad, Gangsta Boo broke down her latest project as well as what’s going on in Memphis Hip-Hop with  DJ Smallz and Southern  Smoke TV.

“Drumma Boy concocted some crazy beats and we’re working on a mixtape.  It’s gothic like me.  Ya’ll know me…mysterious, dark and scary beats.  It’s called Rumors because I like controversy in the sense that I know how to twist it and manipulate whatever people are saying about me to benefit me.”

Gangsta Boo will also be addressing all the controversy surrounding her as of late in the mixtape including the picture of Boo getting her breast licked by some lucky individual.  Speaking of Memphis MCs, she stated,

“I’m still cool with La Chat and recently did a show with Project Pat down in Richmond, Virginia that was so much fun and that was the first time we connected in years so the Memphis scene is still off the chain.”

Boo also spoke on the plight of female MCs and gave some advice for aspiring femme fatales.

“It’s been extremely hard.  I would say stay true to yourself and get yourself a click.  A team that believes in you and that doesn’t want to sleep with you.  A team that genuinely wants to help you get to that next plateau that you’re trying to reach.  Make sure you’re on your business.  But I enjoy the grind, I have a fan base and I’m not really fu&%ed up about nothing that happened in the past.

I’m still major without a major deal and now I’m doing my thing with Drumma Boy so I’m getting my blessings and counting them and still learning as I go.  I expect everybody to do that same thing.  I ain’t trying to be no role model but just whatever suits you the best.  Just stay on your business.”

3-6 Mafia’s former first lady further discussed her relationship with the super-producer who now has platinum hits for such artists as T.I., Jeezy, Rick Ross and Young Joc, and Plies.

“I’ve been messing with Drumma Boy since he was about 16 and he was one of the first producers that I started messing with when I left 3-6 Mafia so we just established a real cool relationship that has lasted.  When I was in a position to help him, I introduced him to a lot of my people.  They bought a lot of beats from him and no he’s in a position to reach back and throw me them killer beats and put me out so he’s returning the favor.”
