Woman Mowed Down By Father For Being "Too Westernized" Dies

The 20-year-old Iraqi woman whose father mowed her down with his car for being “too westernized” died Monday after spending two weeks in a coma.

Noor Faleh Almaleki underwent spinal surgery and was hospitalized after her father attempted to run her and her boyfriend's mother over with his Jeep in Peoria, Arizona.

As previously reported, Faleh Hassan Almaleki was upset with his daughter for becoming “too westernized” and attempted to give her an “honor killing” for shaming the family.

The boyfriend's mother, Amal Khalaf, is expected to survive.

Faleh Hassan Almaleki was originally charged with two-counts of aggravated assault but his charges are expected to be upgraded following his daughter's death.
