Nine People Shot Outside Of Hip-Hop Concert

The ongoing streak of violence we're seeing nationwide is continuing. Nine people were injured Sunday at a Hip-Hop concert in San Francisco. Fans packed the Regency Concert center to see a bevy of celebrities from Trey Songz to LeToya Luckett for Hip-Hop radio station KMEL 106.1's “House of Soul” concert.`

According to KCBS News San Francisco, a fight broke out around 10:30 in front of  the event hall. After the fight escalated, shots were fired and nine people were hit in their lower extremities. The nine victims were taken to various hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

This is yet another case of senseless violence during a performance. Just last week, violence took center stage at a New Boyz concert. As previously reported, chaos erupted at a free concert for the duo in Michigan leaving six people unconscious, one person having a seizure and one person stabbed with a pen.

This is too much, why is fighting at a concert becoming the norm?! SMH….this is not okay.
