Racist Philly Swim Club To File For Bankruptcy

The Philadelphia swim club that shocked the nation by denying entry to Black and Hispanic day camp students cannot pay its bills.

According to The Associated Press, the Valley Swim Club is being forced to file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The President of the swim club, John Duesler, sent an e-mail to club "friends and families" Friday saying the board of directors had indeed voted for bankruptcy early last week.

According to Duesler however, the bankruptcy is not due to negative media coverage nor the $50,000 fine they were given in September. Instead he claims that the club has been in a downward financial spiral and simply could not afford to proceed any further.

He defended his establishment saying , "the truth is that the club has struggled to stay out of the red for at least the last decade.” The club reportedly owes more than $100,000 in operational expenses and legal fees.

Damn! See what happens when you mess with the  wrong ones! SMH....
