Oldest Public School In Nation Loses Lawsuit

The nation's oldest public school has been dealt the short end of the proverbial stick after a court declared that they were at fault in the treatment of a former employee.

Jonathon Bonds was awarded a substantial amount of money, $341,000, after jurors at Suffolk County Superior Court ruled that Boston Latin School acted incorrectly when they refused to name him as chairman of the school's history department.

Bonds, who is Black, filed a discrimination suit against the distinguished school after high-level administrators relieved him from his job, opting to employ a white teacher for the job instead.

A spokesperson for BLS has said that the school will be filing additional motions in the case.

Boston Latin School recently had to dispel rumors of a vampire infestation on their campus.

Boston Latin School was founded in 1635.
