Four Arrested For Helping Washington Cop Killer
Four people are in federal custody for helping Maurcie Clemmons, the man police accused of shooting and killing four Washington state police officers.
As previously reported, Clemmons was seriously disturbed and thought that he was Jesus Christ. Police report that he entered a Tacoma, WA coffee house last Sunday and shot and killed four police officers before being tracked down and killed two-days later.
Before being found, police believe a network of four people helped Clemmons hide. Those people include his half brother Ricky Hinton, his friends Darcus Allen and Quiana Maylea Williams, and his aunt Letricia Nelson. Ricky Hinton faces charges for lying to police when asked about his brother's whereabouts.
Washington police claim the four associates gave Clemmons first-aid for a gunshot wound he received by a dying officer, as well as helped him change clothes and move to different locations. Darcus Allen may face the most serious of all charges, an accomplice to aggravated first degree murder for driving Clemmons away from the scene. That charge could make him eligible for life in prison or execution.
This is a tough one. If your friend came to you after killing someone and asked you for help would you do it?
I don't think I could.
