Florida Man Calls 911 For Ride To Bar; Ends Up Tasered

A Florida man is facing several serious charges while looking for a good night on the town.

Gregory J. Oras, 37, of Tampa is sitting behind bars after dialing 911 in an effort to get a ride to a bar.

A police report chronicling Oras' mischief says that the man phoned local authorities on three separate occasions, even going as far as telling the dispatcher that people were shooting at him and that he was suffering from bleeding ears and a broken nose.

An officer from the Pinnellas County Sheriff's department arrived to quell the situation, only to be met with violence after the unruly man kicked him.

He was promptly Tasered for his actions.

Oras was charged with misuse of 911 and the battery of a law enforcement officer.
