With his Malice In Wonderland album in stores and an upcoming appearance on One Life to Live in the works, Snoop Dogg is focusing on his role as creative chairman for Priority Records.

As creative chairman for Priority, Snoop is overseeing the release of several commemorative catalog titles for the company.

Beginning February 24, Snoop will helm the release of the brand’s forthcoming project,  Snoop Dogg Presents: The West Coast Blueprint.

The West Coast Blueprint will be a compilation of 16 tracks from the vault and a new recording by Snoop of Ice Cube’s “Check Yo Self.” Also on that day, a new CD and digital reissue series, “U.S.D.A.” (“Uncut Snoop Dogg Approved”), will launch with three classic, Snoop-recommended Priority titles, Eazy-E’s Eazy-Duz-It, EPMD’s Strictly Business, and Master P’s Ghetto D, each with newly-written liner notes by Snoop Dogg.

Snoop spoke recently on his role as overseer for the projects in a statement saying,

“I was a long-time fan of Priority Records, even before I had my first record deal. Priority was the flagship label for the west coast. This situation is all about me opening up the Priority back catalog, for the fans, and to spark that feeling in new artists as well. You can’t go into the future without looking back and seeing how all those great artists laid down the foundation for what we’re doing today.”

The West Coast Blueprint will also feature racks from west coast rap legends like N.W.A, Yo-Yo, Ice Cube, and Mack 10, as well as King Tee and Ras Kass.
