Jay-Z And Rihanna To Provide “Hope For Haiti”
As Haiti continues to suffer after being hit with a 6.1 earthquake this morning, more artists are mobilizing to help the nation in peril.
Two of the latest to do so are Jay-Z and his protégé Rihanna who will participate in the “Hope For Haiti” telethon.
Organized by George Clooney, “Hope For Haiti” is set to be the largest benefit yet with three different locations in Los Angeles, New York and London.
The telethon in London will unite Jay-Z and Rihanna for a performance with Bono of U2 and Coldplay.
The artists will be performing a Haiti tribute song titled "Haiti Mon Amour" produced by Swizz Beatz.
George Clooney himself will host the Los Angeles segment of the program joined by Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake and Taylor Swift.
Haiti's unofficial ambassador and the founder of Yele Haiti, Wyclef Jean, will host the New York segment appearing alongside Jennifer Hudson, Bruce Springsteen and Shakira.
The “Hope For Haiti” telethon airs live Friday on MTV UK.
