The First Lady of the country is officially launching her “Let’s Move” campaign to fight childhood obesity.

“Let’s Move” promises to provide healthier food in schools, make kids become more active, and make healthy, affordable food available in every part of the country.

Michelle Obama is being backed by various media outlets in her fight against obesity including the Disney Channel, Viacom, Walt Disney Company and NBC Universal.

Speaking on her campaign during a press conference, the First Lady described childhood obesity as “one of the most serious threats to the future of our children” and says that “Let’s Move” can be used to reach a common goal.

“Let’s Move will rally our nation to achieve a single, ambitious goal: solving the problem of childhood obesity in a generation.”

The Disney Channel has agreed to air public service announcements featuring her and several Disney channel stars.

They also plan to dedicate at least one episode of Hannah Montana to her cause.
