“Jubilation!!!...Oh yes! Attention Lupe Fiasco fans the world over...it's about that time...a  new album, new music, so why not top it off with a new round of touring!!!"

Stans of Lupe Fiasco eagerly anticipating the release of his Lasers album have one more thing to look forward to now that the Chicago lyricist is announcing that he's embarking on a world tour.

The enemy of the state took to his personal blog to make the announcement Saturday.

Lupe made the announcement saying,

"That's Right Ladies & Gentlemen We're Back On The Road & God willing We'll Be Hitting Up A Town Near You Soon!!!"

Lupe also added that the tour kicks off overseas this month before returning to the U.S. in March.

"The Tour Kicks Off In New Zealand & Australia This Month And Hits The U.S. Starting In March For A Few Limited Dates (With More In The Works Of Course)!!!"

While still remaining skimp on details, Lupe made sure to mention that his world tour would be called the “Steppin Laser Tour."

"So Stay Tuned For More Details Including Chances To Win Tickets And Information For When & Where The Righteous "STEPPIN LASER TOUR" Will Be "Steppin" Into Your Area!!!

No word on the exact dates for the U.S. leg of the “Steppin Laser” tour but HipHopWired will keep you informed as those details become available.
