Man Arrested For Raping Woman, Carving “Mine” Into Her Stomach
A North Carolina man is in police custody after authorities say he brutally raped a woman and then carved the word “mine” into her stomach.
41-year-old Keith Campbell is accused of attacking a woman inside her home on Saturday, tying her up, raping her and then using a box cutter to carve “mine” on her stomach.
The woman reports that she and Campbell were “involved” and he was heavily intoxicated at the time.
Police say he also cut her in the face, throat, chest, stomach and legs.
She was treated at a local hospital and released.
Campbell faces charges of first-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a female and two counts of communicating threats.
