A 92-year-old Australian woman is in police custody after they say she is responsible for the death of her 98-year-old husband.
Clare Tang will appear in court today for the death of her husband after he was found dead in their apartment with head trauma.
She is believed to have been suffering from severe dementia at the time of his murder.
The couple had been married for over 70 years.
George Tsoi, a friend of the family has since spoken out in then woman’s defense.
He tells the Australian Broadcasting Corporation that the couple originally from Shanghai, China didn’t appear to have any problems. He tells the ABC that Clare Tang appeared to “love her husband deeply.”
