Major Lazer, the reggae group that consists of DJ Diplo and DJ Switch, was faced with tragedy this weekend after a recent concert in Atlanta.
The two performed Sunday night at Atlanta's Masquerade event hall when shots rang out outside the venue around 11 p.m .
Those inside the concert were unaware of the incident but police report that a man, 26-year-old Matthew Cole of White County, Georgia was killed outside.
An unnamed suspect was arrested on the scene.
WSB Radio reports that Cole was killed over a vehicle blocking the street.
After hearing about the incident Diplo tweeted about what happened saying,
“Atlanta wuz stupid ... So stupid CSI is out front investigating a murder in the alley!! Tooo krunk!! @majorlazer smh.”
Also performing at last night's concert were local bands Rusko, Sleigh Bells and Hollyweerd.
