Update: Man Convicted Of Killing Son Who Molested Daughter

Jamar Pinkney Sr., the man who shot and killed his own son after hearing that he molested his 3 year old daughter, has been found guilty of second degree murder.

As previously reported Jamar Sr. made his son Jamar Jr. strip naked and shot him in the face after hearing that the boy inappropriately touched his half sister.

As expected Pinkney pled temporary insanity, saying that he became so enraged about the incident that it drove him to kill the child.

He was also convicted of three counts of assault and using a firearm in a felony and faces a life prison term with the possibility of parole.

    Jamar Sr.,, Monique Cherry and all who loved little Jamar share a lost. I believe that this dad should have gotten manslaughter. I know the deed of his crime is horiffic yet this boy molested this man's young three year old.
    Little Jamar's actions is the cause of his death. This is why children should realize that what you do can and will affect other people. No one deserves to be killed and no child deserve to be molested.

    You said the magic word, "children". The fact is that that was a child! The first thing that father should have done is found out where he learned such behavior. All too often we don't take responsibility for the way in which we parent our children. That child didn't just think to molest that innocent little girl, he got that from somewhere. And who is to say that there was no redemption for that child? The fact is that there was a better way to handle that situation.

    Everyone can say What they want, but at the end of the day the fifteen year old child was more. Coherent than a three year old innocent defenseless baby. And as a mother I would try to kill ANY male that touched my baby. There' s no telling what emotions or state of mind you would be in after hearing such sickening, and senseless news. I'm sure looking at everything now the father regrets his actions, but he couldn'ta said it better. Temporary insanity. Also, HONOR THY MOTHER AND THY FATHER THAT THY DAYS MAY BE LONG. I'm sure they didn't teach him how to molest babies...

    smdh..   people let emotions just cloud there judgement..   now is the baby better off with her father behind bars and out of her life forever????   sad
