Funeral Home Poses Murder Victim On Motorcycle [Video]

A funeral home in Puerto Rico is making headlines after they decided to honor a man that was shot and killed last week by posing his dead body on his motorcycle as though he were “riding into heaven.”

22-year-old David Morales Colón was murdered last week in San Juan and his family chose to commemorate him in this “nontraditional" way.

Staff at the Marin funeral home dressed him in his riding clothes and placed him on top of his bike, hunched over in the riding position with his helmet behind him.
Friends and family attended a wake for the victim where they got to see the funeral home's work up close.

This is not the first time the Marin funeral home has had a nontraditional home going. In 2008 they made headlines for positioning the corpse of a 24-year-old man to stand up straight for a three day wake.

Check out video of David Colón's wake below.

My God! What is up with these people? First it was old boy standing in the corner greeting people at his on wake (at his mama's house) and now this? Why? For real? Why? This is so un natural and weird....put these people in caskets and mourn them and let them go......

This is crazy!!!!

That is some weird mess!

I love it, however I dont think I can go that route. I think that is really cool. I'd like to know is how is he going to be buried? I have seen some wierd things at funerals I attended. For instance, from where I was sitting, to me it looked like my cousin was trying to bring her grandma back to life or something. But of course I didnt say anything. Just thought, she's taking it hard. Anyways, driving back home my cousin tells me she thinks she might have broke her grandma's legs. What I thought she was giving her grandma chest compressions. Was her actually trying to close the casket. See grandma's spouse was cremated along time ago. So they asked if the ashes can go w/her to. They said yes, and the container was a you know, bulgy I guess. So my cousin said thats what she was doing, pushing the casket to close. Oh, he was put between grandma's legs. Poor man, I dont thing thats what he was aiming for. Just thought I share that real quick. :)

This is creepy!

ehhh i kind of understand it... might be less traumatic to see them in death the same way you saw them in life... the final memory of a loved one lying in a coffin can be pretty distressing...

Dammmmmmmmmmmmmmm, they did a good as job,he looks more alive than a live person.I think it was done in a tastefull manner, who says you have to be laid in a casket any ways.Say what you want, this wasn't your family so you don't know how he wanted his funeral to be,at least the family has a good lasting memory of him,"doing something he loved doing". God bless his soul and god bless his family.

This is understandable in a way...yet spooky....he was buried and remembered in away that he was well known, his love for motorcycles.
