Los Angeles police were looking for a man that was reportedly groping young girls on a city bus, and received some healthy reinforcements.
According to published reports, 14 middle school boys chased down and apprehended 29-year-old Larry Mims, after a female classmate identified him as the man who violated her on the way to school.
The unidentified girl told a few boys on the bus and before it was over, 14 of her male classmates took matters into their own hands and chased the suspected fondler off the bus and down the street.
Police state that the boys chased the man for two-blocks before making a citizen’s arrest and threatening to beat the man up if he ran again, ending the manhunt that had police looking for months.
Mims, who is a registered sex offender, was arrested by police and is currently being held on $75,000 bond.
