Members of Alpha Xi Delta sorority at Miami University are facing a two year suspension after administrators say they held a party at a slavery museum and destroyed property by vomiting and urinating.
The incident took place March 26 in Ohio at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center where the girls are accused of excessive drinking; bringing alcohol in concealed bottles and flasks, vomiting in various places while their male guests left puddles of urine on bathroom floors.
One administrator also claims that he had to stop a drunken man from urinating on one of the museum’s exhibits.
The organization has since apologized to the Freedom Center and says it was “saddened by the inappropriate behavior.”
Earlier this week another sorority at Miami University, Pi Beta Phi, was disciplined after the owner of a lodge they rented complained of catching the students urinating in his sinks and couples having sex.
Pi Beta has been suspended for one year.
