Wife of “American Gangster” Frank Lucas Caught Selling Cocaine

The wife of Frank Lucas, the man Denzel Washington played in the movie “American Gangster”, has been arrested for cocaine dealing.

Julainna Farrait, a 70-year-old former beauty queen, was arrested by the DEA after they say she tried to sell two kilos of cocaine to undercover agents.
She appeared in a court room Thursday to face charges of conspiracy to violate Puerto Rican narcotics laws after being busted on May 19th.

Farrait reportedly met with undercover officers at a hotel room and attempted to sell them the drugs for $60,000 before being detained and arrested.

She will reportedly be shipped to New York where she will appear in a Manhattan federal court room.

Her husband Frank Lucas was sentenced to 40 years in prison for his notorious drug peddling  and was released in 1991.

In May of 2008 Farrait told Puerto Rican newspaper Primera Hora that she always valued the power of money and that it could buy happiness.

"Those who say that money is not important are lying. People say that money does not buy happiness. It doesn't?"

    This chic is nuts and I really hate the way they portrayed her in the movie...like she was this good little PR beauty queen....that chic served time a few times along with her husband and even after they were divorced. They put her and the kids in Witness Protection and she got kicked out of that. So she was in on the game as much as Frank was...obviously more because since being released he has not been arrested and she is still trying to sell that shyt.....
