Teacher Of The Year Quits After Student Reports Sexual Relationship

POLITICS

A teacher in Georgia has resigned in the midst of allegations that she had a sexual relationship with one of her students.

According to published reports, Keenon Aampay, who was once voted Teacher of the Year, is accused of seducing a student to sleep with her and impregnate her to get a good grade.

The student's family told police that the English teacher initiated the affair after the student approached her for help with his homework. It was then, the police allege, that Aampay started the affair by giving the senior gifts.

The student reported the incident after the ex-teacher failed him for declining to impregnate her after she continued to pressure him.

As of press time no charges were filed against the teacher, but the Gwinnett, County,  GA  officials are currently investigating the claims.
