More than a dozen people in Florida have been arrested for allegedly being a part of prostitution ring that converted a house into a sex shop.

Florida police state that the house, which was located down the street from a local school, also contained what authorities describe as a torture chamber.

“All bedrooms only had a blow up mattress or small bed on the floor,”“The garage was converted into a sexual torture chamber — equipped with a leather bed, hand cuffs, whips and chains. It was set up for the sole purpose of prostitution.” Lieutenant Christopher Reeves stated.

Although police state that the home was used for prostitution, the home owner says the sole use was for swingers parties.

“I host swinger parties here on the weekends,” the anonymous home owner states. “I have been here for four years. The police are well aware, I’m not breaking any laws and there’s nothing illegal going on. My neighbors are all very well-aware, matter of fact I’ve had a few neighbors at the parties.”

Deputies who uncovered the house during an online sex solicitation sting, states that the house was more than a swingers spot, but actually offered a “one stop shop for sexual ventures.”

With the roll out of the county-wide prostitution operation, police arrested more than 13 people on prostitution charges in only 14 hours. .

Deputies went undercover in homes and motels in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Punta Gorda and Lehigh Acres.

Although their “business” was shut down, the owner of the home is not facing any criminal charges and no children were involved in the sting or the activity.
