Police detained an 18-year-old Brooklyn teen Monday, the last person wanted in connection with the sexual assault of a 23-year-old Bronx woman in New York’s Central Park.
Police were on the hunt for three men Sunday after an unidentified woman was spotted running out of the park seminude saying she’d been sexually assaulted.
Surveillance footage taken from a nearby drug store helped authorities capture the men who reportedly met the woman at a bus stop before offering her marijuana and dragging her into the park.
Police then say they forced the woman to perform a sex act on one of them while the others watched and exposed themselves.
When the victim lashed out and fought back, they reportedly struck her in the head and robbed her of her valuables before fleeing.
Robert Gonzalez surrendered to police yesterday while his accomplices Shawn Martinez and Kelvin Dalrymple, pictured above, remained in police custody.
