Gary Coleman's Death Bed Photos Sold And Published For $10,000

A photo of Gary Coleman on his death bed was published this morning by The Globe tabloid magazine.

The picture shows Coleman in a hospital bed with a bandaged head and tubes attached to his body while his ex-wife Shannon Price poses next to him.

Price is being accused of selling the pictures to the tabloid for $10,000 and is facing allegations of foul play in his death.

She was divorced from the 42-year-old actor but the two shared a home together in Utah when he suffered a fall on May 26 that caused a brain hemorrhage.

Price was heard on a 911 call telling dispatchers,

“He just got home, I heard this big bang, I went downstairs…Blood everywhere…I don't know if he's okay. I'm not down there right now because I have a fever, if I get stressed out I'm going to faint…”


The release of his dying photos is the latest in the bizarre incidents surrounding his death including an interview where his estranged wife told Entertainment Tonight her plans to,

“Spread some of [his ashes] around some train tracks because trains were his hobby and he loved that very much.  And I think that he would really appreciate that I did that for him.”

Several higher end magazines allegedly refused to buy the tasteless photos that appear on the cover and inside Globe, which explains how the magazine bought them at such a low price.

    My mother use to explain lowlife, disrespectful, no-good, think of themselves' only type of people as "COMES FROM THE TOTAL LACK OF UP-BRINGING"" I sure bet Shannon's mom is proud of her. We can only hope what goes around comes around her way,,,,and soon.

    I listened to the 911 call a few times and Shannon doesn't even sound panicky or seriously concerned about Gary's condition...not a bit! She did not sound like she 'loved' him as she keeps saying now. She was more concerned with her 'fever' and kept saying she'd have a seizure if she had to hold a compress to his head to stop the bleeding. Yep, I think she pushed him down the stairs or against a counter corner in the kitchen. It is hard to believe his injury and death were ruled to be by 'accident' - this should have been investigated for blunt force trauma - and his blood should have been tested as well. Just my take...
