Memphis Blasts "Hip-Hop Honors" For Not Paying Homage [Video]
"The absence of Memphis was the ultimate show of disrespect..."
While Georgia, Florida, Texas and other Southern regions were praising there artists being showcased during VH1's Hip-Hop Honors, Memphis, Tennessee has spoken out for the lack of equal treatment when it comes to their city.
Known for acts such as Three 6 Mafia, Young Buck and 8Ball & MJG, Memphis was completely off the radar and was paid no homage on the show for it's contribution to rap.
Although the show may have left them out, Memphis has refused to keep their mouth closed, saying that it's somewhat disrespectful that they were overlooked and that somebody clearly hasn't done their research.
