David Brown Jr., the son of a Dallas Police Chief is being held as a primary suspect for the shooting of a police officer and another victim. This resulted in an exchange of gunfire in front of an apartment complex, where Brown Jr. was shot and killed as well.
The shooter was identified as the son of new Dallas Police Chief David Brown Sr., who had just took office this past May. Craig Shaw and other Lancaster, TX police had responded to a call around 6 p.m. on Sunday. After a gunfire exchange, it w as later confirmed that Officer Shaw was killed as well.
