Lebron James Mural Removed In Cleveland

Cleveland fans are really letting LeBron know that his decision to move to Miami has cost him his “Kingship.”

Less than a week after “King” James made his announcement to move down south, fans in his former city have shown how they really feel about the so-called betrayal by removing the mural of James that is featured in the now infamous Nike ads.

In the hours after James' announcement, some angry fans hurled rocks at the 10-story sign that featured James with his arms outstretched after tossing powder into the air.

Kobe Bryant has decided to share his opinion regarding major shifts in the league, including Chris Bosh and LeBron James' decision to sign with the Miami Heat.

In a press conference, Kobe states that Bosh's decision to go to the Heat was “the best decision” for him and that he looks at both Bosh and Dwayne Wade as more than colleagues, but as friends.

“I am happy and congratulate Bosh in his decision,” Kobe said. I just hope he did what is best for him and I want him to be happy. I know them outside of basketball, so I just hope that this decision is good for him and his family.

Although many fans were upset and saddened by LeBron's decision to sign to the newly formed “dream team,” Kobe states that he supports James in his decision.

“I think that his decision was a good one,” Kobe continued. “I hope that he is happy and that he doesn't feel the pressure to make certain decisions based on circumstances surrounding the team.”

Somehow, I think Kobe is laughing on the inside. Check the video.

Do you think that LeBron made a good decision? Let us know.

I think these are grown men and should be able to play where they choose. Good luck to all of them.

  • thank god im white

haha @ crybaby azz cleveland. do yall not understand what it means to be a FREE AGENT? who wouldnt wanna leave a depressing loser town like cleveland to go party and hoop in miami? your fame is up here in a minute anyway cleveland, without lebron the whole city could fall into a black hole and the rest of us wouldnt even notice.

The 1st thing u should do after being dumped is remove all items that remind u of ur ex. What Cleveland is doing isn't hate--it's healthy. Called 'moving on.'

  • Team Lebron

    @Cleveland Fans

The teams GM Dan Gilbert is to blame for Lebron leaving. He had 7 years to bring in some help for Lebron to win a championship all he did was set on his fat ***** and rake in dough. He made 200 million dollars off Lebron for those years and did not bring in a soul besides a older Shaq to help him. There was Wade,Boozer,Amare and Bosh and Cleveland aquired not one. Had they gotten one of these guys to come to Cleveland Lebron would still be there. The L.A. Lakers wasted no time in bringing in a young Shaq to help Kobe win a Title . What was the hold up with the Cavs. When I watched that special I could tell Lebron was unhappy and looked like he was in pain saying he was going to Miami. Than when they showed him u ***** holes burning his jersey he was clearly hurt. Why should he be held captive in Ohio just because he is from there, that is just stupid and idiotic. Well at least he know who his true fans are, b/c true fans should just want him to be happy. Guess he knew that was not you Cleveland and thats why he got outta there not looking back.

    Best Luck in Miami Lebron

    A True Fan

  • keha

Hey, I thought the NBA was a business, not a family. Loyalty is to family not work. Besides, I don't know any employers that gives you notice when their not happy with you. Lebron's was a free agent. He's commitment was over.
I'm sure he brought more money to that orgainization than they spent to get him. 7 years on any job nowadays is to long when your unhappy.
Get over it Cleveland, time for him to.....to move on!!

  • keha

As far as Jesse's comment......everybody knows he's an extremist when it comes to race. But I have to agree with him on this one. Where does Gilbert get off on thinking Lebrons owes him anything. They were lucky to get Lebron's in the first place. He did everything they paid him for.... on the court .....and off.

  • Deevil

Dan Gilbert is *****ed because of all the money he's gonna lose out on next season

Fans are *****ed because LBJ was the only reason they even went to Cavs games

Everyone else is *****ed because it was hard enough guarding one super star, now they gotta deal with 2½.

  • Alex

Kobe's comment was BEFORE Lebron made his DECISION!

  • cc

@ thank god I'm white. Take off ur suit. U r the reason why dumbies like Jesse Jackson bring race into it because ohians have the good ole boys in disguise making r stars Leave. Like jobs being outsourced to India and Japan. show urself douche.

    • thank god im white

@ cc...Uhhh....what does race, or Jesse Jackson, or outsourced jobs, or India, or Japan have to do with Cleveland being a HUGE dump? Stay on topic here genius. Lebron left because it is his God given right to do so. He fulfilled his contract and then got the fk outta there like anybody with any common sense would. Yall need to ask somebody what it means to be a "free agent." Lebron owes you ungrateful morons nada.

  • daveH

f**k ohio, Lebron James is a grown man that doesn't owe anyone anything, he's doing whats best for him, people need to get a life.

  • LOVECHILD5O4

I think people should look at it as if it were them and their employer. If you get the chance to further your career somewhere else, would it matter how your current boss or co-workers feels about it? No. Why? Because you gotta do whats best for you and your family. Some of yall probably wouldnt even give a 2 week notice if you got a chance!!! LOL!!!

  • OMG!!!

@ thank god I'm white : It' cool for you to agree with LeBron's decision to leave, but you're being disrespectful. There is no need for you to come on this site and trash the city of Cleveland. It's true LeBron is grown and he can do what he wants. The way in which he went about it however was wrong. He could've at least let the owners know ahead of time, and the hour long special was pointless.

This was a very obvious reaction by the fans. 'King' would have expected that for sure. To move down south leaving the club like that was sure to aggravate the fans. i hope, now that he has moved south, he has a better future there and can afford to forget the kind of farewell he received from his previous fans.

  • warilyn43

first of all i could care less where shabron james went or go yesterday, today, or in the near future. from a person with a giving spirit and heart, i just like to say that everything he asked for they were willing to give him, fired men with family's to feed, but at the end of the day you reep what you sow, i said all of that to say this, yes the self serving clown can go wherever she wants but a tiger never changes its stripes, so beware MIAMI AND DWAYNE WADE , 18 caret gold only last so long it has to be cleaned up more often then others.

OMG! Lebron had to do what was best for him...it was a business decision. Cleveland needs to get over it. Thus the term Free Agent. The Hour Special was ridiculous but that was ESPN's fault, but again that was business, and I'm sure the team really knew what was up before the announcement! Come On!!
