Nas Talks Kelis And The Future Of His Family [Video]
Kelis may have decided to remain tight lipped about her divorce from Queens bred emcee Nas but the rapper s has decided to dish on his divorce as well as talk about how his life has changed since their separation.
In an interview with British on air personality Tim Westwood, Nas states that although he will never talk about the divorce directly, being in the spotlight a lot of issues were leaked that he wanted to remain private.
“I really have never been that type of dude to put my business out there,” Nas said. “With the situation I found out that no matter who you are, your business will be put out there because people want to know. I will never talk about the issue, but what I will say is I wish everyone the best and I want everyone to be happy.”
In regards to whether his problems with Kelis have deterred him from ever getting married again, Nas states:
“You live and you learn, when it comes to matters of the heart I go all in. I still think marriage is a beautiful thing, it's just you have to be strong to weather the ups and downs. I had great hopes and thought we were going to do it big, but when two people see things different and have two different minds, you go into two different directions. But I definitely can see myself doing it again; I had fun doing it and got a beautiful son out of it.”
It's always good to see that neither party is bitter….at least for now and until he sends out that alimony and child support check out every month.
And with the flop of Kelis' latest album Fleshtone, I hope he's not in court again with her trying to up the ante even more.

I love that guy. I can't imagine someone being so honest yet so positive and respectful after that whole situation. Seems like a really good dude. I hope he takes his time next time & really gets to know who he is dealing with before he takes it to that level...and I guess now he has figured out that no matter how in love you are if you got a little $$$ a prenup is a necessity.
Now you see how wrong Bossip was by being so quick to blame everything on Kelis and tear his to shreads even Nas is not doing that he's been mature about the situation. I love the way Nas handled this and on interviews Kelis never says anything negative about him either I guess they don't want their son to go back and read their words when he gets older.
I really like this guy. Handled this situation real mature unlike Kelis who talked smack about him from day one, though I've noticed she doesn't do it anymore.

Who said Nas cheated? Kelis is the one with a picture out there for all to see with her s*xing another man. So *****ODY knows what happened. HA...oh Kelis has said plenty of things about him...as a matter of fact she leaked her entire side of the divorce story to Elliot Wilson, who spread it across radio stations and the internet, before she even officially filed for divorce. Then she went on twitter talking about how she forgot it was father's day because she doesn't know any good fathers (which is interesting because she was married to a man with a daughter & decided that he was good enough for her to get pregnant by...), and lets not forget just a few weeks ago when she called him her biggest disappointment in life in an interview. So no we are supposed to believe she is taking some high road because she suddenly says she has never & will never speak badly of Nas for her child's sake? Actions speak louder than words and she has acted in an unrespectable manner...that backfired as shown with her zombie career & now she is trying to re-work her image...well Kelis as Jay-Z once said "we don't believe you, you need more people" lol @ 7000 albums sold.
