Police said two teenage boys who dressed in Ku Klux Klan outfits as a prank attracted the ire of passers-by in St. Helens, Oregon.

The teens were photographed wearing pillow cases and sheets going down local roads, while witnesses said the pair pulled up in a convertible and were holding a flag.

Police said several drivers yelled at the teenagers and some even got out of their cars to confront them, but the duo continued their ignorant and immature tirade and drove all around the town.

The teens told officers they have no affiliation with the KKK or its beliefs, and the prank was just to get a rise out of the local citizens.  However, one of the worst parts about this case is that one of the boys is the son of a local St. Helens police officer.

Carey Doan witnessed the incident and said he saw drivers pulling over to talk with the pair.

“They were wearing full face masks and pointy hats and, by the time they got to Church Street, several local citizens had parked their cars and got out to have some kind of conversation with these two guys and before long the cops were here.”
