A female sports reporter is making headlines now that she claims that the New York Jets and their coaching staff sexually harassed her when she attended one of their practices.
Ines Sainz says while she was working on a story about quarterback Mark Sanchez Saturday, she had footballs thrown in her direction by a Jets coach and had players “call out to her” in the team's locker room.
Sainz, who is a former Miss Spain and reporter for Mexico's TV Azteca, is said to have received a phone call from Jets owner Woody Johnson where he stressed “that he expects all members of the Jets organization to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.”
The Jets have since released a statement about the incident, saying that they “will continue to work with the League to gather the facts and take any appropriate steps necessary to maintain a respectful environment for the media.”
