HipHopWired: How'd you get started DJing? What made you wanna get into it?

DJ F.A.M.E: When I was working at a rec center, two DJs were doing their thing and it called to me, one of those DJs now is DJ Magic. After talking to him, he influenced me to get my own set and practice as hard as I can.

HipHopWired: Now your name, F.A.M.E., is there an acronym in that?

DJ F.A.M.E.: I've always had issues with other DJs because there are so many other DJ Fames in the world.  So my acronym stands for Foremost Alienated Maestro Ever.

HipHopWired: Are you still with the Demolition Crew DJs?

DJ F.A.M.E.: I'm definitely still with them. I'm actually celebrating my second anniversary with the team.

HipHopWired: While you're up in New York have you been working with any independent artists?

DJ F.A.M.E: Right now I'm on the other spectrum and working with producers, graphic designers, I'm just trying to delve into something else. From Clubs, promotions, films, I'm doing anything that has to do with the entertainment field.

HipHopWired: Have you done any clubs lately? What's the last club you've spun at?

DJ F.A.M.E: The Supper Club Brooklyn, footage of that is available at DJFAMEBK.com.

HipHopWired: Are you still doing your radio show on Thursdays?

DJ F.A.M.E.: Yes, WorldcastRadio.com. It's the Demolition Hour from 3-5, playing a variety of music from old school to Hip-Hop and R&B. People can hit me on Facebook at DJF.A.M.E.BK for requests.

HipHopWired: So what else are you doing besides radio? Are you doing any mixtapes?

DJ F.A.M.E: I just got a new spot at Promenade nightclub, OMG Fridays. I do this thing where I celebrate your birthday for you, your whole guest list.

HipHopWired: Any last words or shoutouts?

DJ F.A.M.E.: Shoutout to The Demolition Crew DJs, Will, D Entertainment Group, my staff at DJF.A.M.E.BK. Anyone who's ever listened to me, I'm not stagnant in the New York are I'm trying to branch to more of the East Coast, West Coast. I'm still traveling all over from Jamaica to China.
